Set It Off formed in 2008 as Cody Carson (lead Singer) decieded to drop put of college and do what he had always wanted to. THe band is Completed by Zach Something (Guitar) Austin Kerr (Bass) and Dan Clermont (Guitar). Recently the band have found the genre they were aiming or which is Orchestral Pop which is where Orchestral insrtument are added to their Pop Rock songs.
Before starting Set It Off Cody Carson preformed covers on Youtube he then asked Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low if he could Sing 'Coffee Shop Soundtrack' Alex Gaskarth accepted his offer and Cody sang on stage with one of is favourite bands.
Set It Off uses Social Networking sites to their full advantage as they see the only reason where they are now is because of the fans who support them, the fans of Set It Off showed how much hey appreciated the band by voting for them to play 'The Next Best Thing'which is a show in Florida, the band will be playing with the likes of A Day To Remember and My Chemical Romance. Set It Off also keep their fans intrested by posting videos of tour antics on youtube which are all a part of a series named 'We Gonna Set You Off' The band have realesd an Ep named 'Calm Before The Storm' which has tracks such as 'Pages And Paragraphs' and 'I Promise' on the EP, But now the band have realesed two brand new tracks named 'Hush Hush' and 'Together Forever' on these two tracks they discovered Orchestral Pop, Both tracks are very impressive for such a small known band but clearly they are on the up and up! I see Set It Off making it in the music industry. When I clicked on Cody's Youtube channel i was expecting poor quialty videos but i was proven very wrong.
